Anesthesia Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and highly organized Teacher of Anesthesia Department to join us. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching medical students, nurses, and other healthcare providers about anesthesia topics and techniques.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and teach lectures on anesthesia topics such as pain management, sedation, airway management, and monitoring

Develop lesson plans that include assigned readings, lectures, activities, and assessments

Evaluate students’ performance throughout the course

Monitor student understanding of lecture material through discussion boards and other assessment tools

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new developments in the field of anesthesia

Participate in research projects related to anesthesia education

Work with other departments to ensure that all educational goals are being met

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing or medical related field

Certification or licensure as an Anesthesiologist or Nurse Anesthetist (preferred)

Previous experience teaching in a college setting (preferred),
